SPECIAL IRON COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING

September 7, 2004

            Minutes of a Special Iron County Commission meeting convened at 1:00 p.m. September 7, 2004 at the Iron County Visitor Center, Cedar City, UT.

            Officers in attendance included:

SEWER LINE REIMBURSEMENT :

            Steve Platt explained a request from Rett Shakespeare for reimbursement of funds as outlined in a development agreement with Northridge at Cross Hollows LLC. Iron County agreed to reimbursed the developers for additional capacity in a sewer trunk line from their development through Southern Utah University farm, through Kathy Lamoreaux’s farm and through Raymond Jackson’s farm. The line will be a part of a planned major trunk line to connect to the sewer treatment plant.

            Iron County agreed to reimburse $44,368.60 for the difference between an eight inch line and a twenty one inch line. After reviewing the development agreement and finding that the line has been installed as agreed, Gene Roundy made a motion to approve reimbursing $44,368.60 as agreed. Second by Dennis Stowell. Voting: Wayne Smith, Aye; Gene Roundy, Aye; Dennis Stowell, Aye.
