Fingerprint Information

The Iron County Sheriff’s Office offers the service of fingerprinting the public for Employment Background Checks, Utah Driver Privilege Cards, Utah Concealed Firearm Permit and any other reason the public may need their fingerprints taken.

The Sheriff’s Office is located at 2132 N Main St, Cedar City UT and all fingerprints are taken at this location.

Fingerprint Hours

Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 8:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.

Cost & Payment Type

The cost is $10, or if the applicant is needing a Driver Privilege Card, the cost is $20 (this price also includes the photograph). Exact money is required – cash only.

**Please do NOT ask us to fingerprint on Monday’s, Friday’s or after 1:00 P.M. on regular fingerprint days – NO EXCEPTIONS**

A valid government issued ID or passport is required for ALL fingerprint applicants.
