Public Hearing Notice
Creation of Community Development and Renewal Agency
The Iron County Commission will hold a public hearing along with their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday,August 23 at 1:30 a.m. at the Iron County Courthouse located at 68 South 100 East, Parowan, Utah. The purpose of the public hearing will be to receivecomments concerning the creation of a Community Development and Renewal Agency requested by Dennis/Marilee A Stowell Living Trust, Tim Tennis and Parowan Valley Holdings LLC.
The Iron County Community Development and Renewal Agency requested that the Cedar City– Iron County Office of Economic Development prepare a Draft Community Development Project
Area Plan in conformance withthe requirements of Utah Code Annotated 17C-14-101 et seq. This Draft Community Development Plan (the “Plan”) is for a project area located entirely within the boundaries of Iron County. A copy of the draft plan is available for inspectionat the office of the Iron County Clerk, 68 S. 100 East, Parowan, Utah. A copy of the plan is also posted on the Iron County website: www.ironcounty.net. The property to be included in the project area is described below.
The public is invited to attendand participate in the public hearing.
